Our purpose is to study all aspects of the American Civil War and to promote the interchange of knowledge about it.
Meetings
The meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at VFW Post 3233, 124 S. Tuttle Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34237. Post Phone: 941 365-1818
We meet eight times a year, September through May. Our meetings feature a speaker who discusses a Civil War topic. Reservations are not required. Dress is casual. Meetings begin at 7 P. M.
Membership
Our members’ interests in the War Between the States are varied and their knowledge ranges from elementary to advanced.
